Computer Systems Analyst

Analyze electronic design automation tools' problems to support and assist users with using the tools to verify and optimize the physical design layout. Help users of the tool with issues in the various stages of ASIC design including placement optimization, clock network synthesis and optimization, routing and signal integrity optimization, timing analysis and testing circuitry optimization. Analyze, test and debug software issues reported by users and work with R&D to resolve the issues in a timely manner, using scripting in Perl and TCL, and RTL/Verilog coding under Unix system. Require : Master's degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering with coursework in logic design,computer system architecture, VLSI system design and solid state processing.

Candidates should have a minimum of 2+ years in physical design, logical/physical synthesis,timing analysis, or other related fields and possess a BS/MS/Ph.D. in EE, CS, or relatedfields. New college graduate applicants are welcome.

Preferred knowledge/experience in the following areas:


Timing Optimization - logic synthesis, physical synthesis, timing/power optimization,
           incremental timing analysis.

Clock Tree synthesis - skew analysis, skew optimization, clock gating techniques,
           clock-mesh generation

Floorplanning/Chip-Assembly - pin-assignment, feedthru insertion, hierarchical data management
